To me, it looks like bright whimsical watch mecanisms. I love how it's emerging from the black, although I feel the black space is a too big and would look better a bit cropped.

Great distorted architecture, I really like those shapes.

Just trying something new as far as composition. It would probably look much better at a distance (or perhaps half the current size).

Perhaps it would look better cropped... alternatively, that black might not be as overbearing if the piece as a whole was smaller. Thanks for the constructive criticism!

OK, I see. When I take a look in "small view", it is less obvious, but I am not 100% convinced that the complete blank works as a composition device here. My eyes read it as a chunky frame, and I end up seeing the composition within that . . . of course I may just be odd (it's been said before ;-) )
