Artist's Comments

One of the newest fractals I've made. I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out.

I wish I could remember... idiot that I am went and deleted the file of parameters that included this one... so I'm not sure. I've tried reproducing it, but have had no success. :(

i'm sorry to hear that, you did an excellent job with this one and was wondering why you hadn't done more. Good luck with finding out again!

Yes; that one's a 'keeper' alright! :)
Very comet-like.

Always assume the worst: if it happens you'll be prepared and if it doesn't the surprise will be pleasant.

Thanks. (and also for adding it to your favourites)

I really like the combination of colors chosen for this fractal. The shadow effect makes it appear to be 3D. I wonder how it would look if you added really bright streaks near the tail of the meteor?

Probably more like a meteor. lol! Actually, this brings up one of my few frustrations with Apophysis (the program I use to make fractals): It's often difficult to get exactly the right colours where you want them on the fractal. For this one in particular, a brighter tail meant the head was too dark. Meh. I more then content with the result.

Hey no problem! I appreciate that you take the time to critique my art. It keeps me from getting too lazy.
